DIOCTYL PHTHALATE (DOP) is widely applied to the production of PVC, vinyl-chloride copolymer, and cellulose resins. It is an essential component in making thin film, artificial leather, wires, cable sheets, panels, moldings, and plasticized pastes.

Application Guide: About 80% to 90% of DOP is used in the PVC industry. It is also used in synthetic rubber (like nitrile rubber) to improve rebound resilience and decrease compression set without affecting vulcanization. Other uses include recycled plastics, lubricants, binders, paints, and capacitor oil.
